Original Art Nouveau Pendant in 9 Carat Red Gold
This design purely reflects the „Arts and Crafts Movement“ of 19th century Britain, inseparably linked with the name of Mackintosh. The amethyst in the middle is domed cut. The origin of this piece of jewellery can be dated with the help of the hallmarks on the backside; the goldsmith’s initial, however, is only partly legible depicting the letter “M”. A loosely suspended grey pearl completes this peculiar Art Nouveau design. The pendant adorns a pearl necklace made of especially precious small cultured pearls with a spring ring in 14 carat red gold.
